Adam I. Hiscock is a Project Geologist with the Utah Geological Survey’s Geologic Hazards Program. With a background in seismic hazards and paleoseismology (the study of past earthquakes), Adam works to better understand Utah’s active, hazardous faults and translate complex geological data into practical information for local communities and the public. Originally a Kanab native, but now Salt Lake City based, Adam enjoys visiting Kanab and the beautiful surrounding area as much as possible for adventures including river rafting, biking, hiking, and backpacking!
