Through creative and performing arts, outdoor learning, discovery and adventure, Kanab’s nonprofit Amazing Earthfest invites people to celebrate the natural systems that sustain us. This year’s program includes a colorful cultural presentation by the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians, a free concert of live music by the Chris Paul Band, and a fascinating panel discussion exploring LDS views on care for the environment.
At the heart of our nation’s National Parks, Forests, Monuments and Public Lands here in Utah, Earthfest brings learning opportunities in geology, archaeology, wildlife, land ethics and the night sky to enhance your connection to Mother Earth. Participating agencies include the US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Utah Department of Natural Resources, the Peregrine Fund, the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University, and the National Park Service.
Through collaboration between federal land management agencies, local, county and state government, national and regional non-profit groups, business and individuals, Earthfest events help develop a sustainable economy for Kane County focused on the benefits that public lands provide.
