Southern Utah’s 16th annual Amazing Earthfest 2022, is now officially scheduled from May 8-14th! Our festival offers free inspiring, educational programming to those who value stewardship of natural and cultural resources on America’s public lands and a healthy planet for present and future generations.

Traditionally, this event is held in person for residents and visitors to southern Utah, however, with the pandemic still prevalent and new variants circulating, all events will be delivered online to keep participants and organizers safe from Covid-19. Festival organizers hope to return to in-person events next year while continuing to offer some remote learning opportunities as well!

The details for each activity are described on our "Upcoming Events" page, where you can register for free to attend any number of presentations and documentary films that appeal to you. Please note that registration is required to attend!

Programs this year will include fascinating presentations and discussions on local and regional native rock art, birds of prey, effects and mitigation measures for climate change in the nation’s national parks, astrophotography and astronomy presentations with two Utah experts, plus award-winning documentary films and more. Our opening event, “Invocation To Sustainability” will feature Blake Spalding, co-owner of Hell’s Backbone Grill & Farm in Boulder, Utah. Blake Spalding and Jen Castle’s renowned destination for fine dining is enveloped by southern Utah’s Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.
