Ancestral Puebloan culture's complex astronomy reveals a legacy of scientific observation and a spiritual tradition with a powerful impact on the American Southwest. Many brilliant achievements of the Chaco civilization are in grave danger today. Their feats, long obscured in a fragile desert environment, are recovered through beautiful aerial footage and laser scanning (LIDAR), revealing the true expanse of their world, nearly twice the size of Ireland in size.
