The visibility and brilliance of a starry night sky is precious to human existence, but it’s rapidly vanishing due to steady increases in misdirected nighttime lighting. The implications for humanity’s health and well-being, as well as for wildlife, are profound. In this presentation learn what is lost when stars fade away at night, ways we can protect our night sky, and how easy it is to help improve visibility of the night sky at your home and in your community.
