Description: This highly scenic, newly developed mountain biking and hiking trail system on varied natural surfaces offers an easy to moderate hiking experience while sporting expansive views of the colorful cliffs of the Grand Staircase. Bring your own water and snacks.

Location: Gather at the Earthfest Information Table, Kane County Office of Tourism, 78 South 100 East, Kanab, at 8:30 AM to carpool. Allow 20 minutes drive time from Kanab to the Trailhead.

Directions from Kanab: Take US-89 eastbound from Kanab. Drive 9.3 miles from the traffic light where US-89 and US-89A split apart. Pass the paved Johnson Canyon Road on your left. Now go another 0.7 miles, cross Johnson Wash, and add another 1/10th mile. At exactly mile 10.1, turn to the right on a dirt road. Drive south for one mile and turn right at the dirt road fork. 100 yards after the turn, look for a parking opportunity on your right.

Access to the events of Amazing Earthfest is free, however we recommend a one-time donation amount of $20 to cover admission to most events scheduled during the festival. There are a few exceptions, which are noted in the event descriptions, to cover the cost of food or performances.
