Kanab’s Amazing Earthfest Organizes 15th Consecutive Festival of Learning and Discovery

Southern Utah’s 15th annual Amazing Earthfest 2021, scheduled for May 9-15, 2021, offers inspiring, educational programming for residents and visitors to southern Utah who value stewardship of natural and cultural resources on America’s public lands and a healthy planet for present and future generations.

With the pandemic still prevalent and new variants circulating, all events will be delivered online to keep participants and organizers safe from Covid 19. As soon as details become confirmed, events are described in full at https://amazingearthfest.org/events/ where you can register for free to attend the selection of presentations and documentary films that most appeal to you.

Activities will include workshops and presentations on astrophotography, the history of Utah’s national parks and monuments, creative nature writing, paleontology, rock art, the recent emergence of “dark sky” parks (19 state and national parks for observing Utah’s spectacular starry skies) and a sweet video of sand hill cranes. Informative award winning documentary film topics include regenerative farming and soil health, high adventure hiking in Grand Canyon, effects of humanity’s interconnectedness, and the world’s first solar powered airplane flight around the world, plus three films covering the personal life stories of three immensely inspired women who made a difference in such diverse fields as landscape architecture, civics and environmental activism, and international nuclear disarmament.

Amazing Earthfest online events are delivered free, but require registration to attend.
