Time: 9:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Location: Cottonwood Canyon Trailhead, top of Stansfield Street, Kanab (near the water tank)

To carpool, meet at the Earthfest Information Table, Kane County Office of Tourism, 78 South 100 East, Kanab, at 9:15 PM

Description: From one of the darkest sites in Kanab City, zoom in and get a close up look at the gems of the southern Utah spring sky. Gaze at wispy nebula, star clusters and galaxies, plus Jupiter through an astronomical quality telescope. Join scientist and astronomy interpreter Randy Dunning to gain appreciation for the scale and wonder of our galaxy. Nighttime in the desert can be chilly so dress accordingly. It’s a good week for night sky viewing!
