CHANGING THE LENS – GSENM 2016 Artist in Residence Photography Workshops

Presented By: GSENM Artist-in-Residence Program: BLM

GSENM 20th Anniversary Event!

Photographers James and Jenny Tarpley welcome children and adults of all ages to experience nature through the senses, photography, and a little humor too! Whether you are an amateur, seasoned pro, or just want to learn how to “see” differently and connect to your local landscape through photography, this workshop is for you.

We’ll look at photographs of GSENM and surrounding areas, answering questions as we go, and test the “principles of observation” through a live photo scavenger hunt. The hunt will take place indoors and out, and focus on recognizing various aspects of our surroundings. A point-and-shoot, camera phone or dslr are recommended for this workshop.
