Presented By: Grand Staircase Escalante Partners

Join Katja Knoll, Paleo Lab Manager with Grand Staircase Escalante Partners, for a trip back in time at Moccasin Mountain Tracksite. There, at least six different types of footprints are preserved from the Jurassic time period, including several types of dinosaurs as well as other animals. The tracks tell scientists a lot about life here hundreds of millions of years ago. Take this opportunity to “walk among dinosaurs”! If you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, please take it (we may ask if you’re willing to carpool). Wear sunscreen and bring plenty of water. This is an “easy” level hike.
