Explore the ancient juniper trees, plants and lichens of the Tilted Mesa trails with Marc Coles-Ritchie, ecologist for BLM at Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. On this easy to moderate botany walk of 2-3 miles, we will examine Junipers that have been alive for more than 700 years!

Location: 78 S 100 E, Kanab, UT 84741. Meet at the Kane County Office of Tourism to sign waivers, then carpool or caravan to the trailhead.
